Membership

Q: How can I be a member of AUPE Credit Co-operative (ACC)?

A: To be a member, please complete membership form here.

Q: What is the difference between an Ordinary Member and an Associate Member?

Ordinary Member (Salary check-off):
(a) be an employee of a Ministry, Statutory Board, Organ of State or any other institution/entity as listed in the Government directory;
(b) be a member or employee of any other organisation or institution as approved by the Registrar. 

Associate member (GIRO deduction):
(a) a Child, Spouse, Sibling or Parent of an Ordinary Member;
(b) an Ordinary Member who has retired or resigned from service; or
(c) a working person and a member of a trade union.

Q: Can I continue to save with ACC after I retire or resign from my place of employment?

A: Yes you may and we encourage members to continue as an associate member, all benefits will still remains. 
If you are currently on salary check-off arrangement, please complete the Conversion Form and GIRO Form.
Mail the completed GIRO form (handwritten) to AUPE Credit Cooperative, 295 Upper Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 534929.

Q: Will I be able to join as a member of ACC if I am working in a private sector?

A: Yes. You may join ACC as an Associate Member as long as you are a valid NTUC member.

Q: Will I be able to join as a member of ACC if I am working in a private sector but not an union member?

A: No. You need to be an existing NTUC member. 

Q: Currently I am a member of ACC, can I contribute savings for my spouse and children?

A: Yes. You complete the Membership Form and GIRO Form. Select option A2 and submit the birth certificate(s) and/or marriage certificate.
Mail the completed forms (handwritten) to AUPE Credit Cooperative, 295 Upper Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 534929.

Savings

Q: I wish to increase my monthly savings amount. How do I do it?

A: Click here to change your monthly deduction.

Q: How do I increase my monthly subscription contribution.

A: You are not able to increase your subscription as it is fixed. 
We do however run invitation from time to time to increase the subscription contribution, ensure your e-mail is updated to receive such invitation.

Q: What is the maximum I can contribute for my savings?

A: You may contribute towards your savings as long as your total monthly deduction does not exceed 50% of your gross salary.

Q: How do I withdraw from my savings deposit account?

A: Please use the mobile application, withdrawal of funds will be credited to your bank account immediately. 

Q: How can I apply for term deposit account?

A: Open a term deposit account through the mobile app.

Q: How do I fund my term deposit account?

A: You may fund your term deposit account with either or both options:
1) Transfer from your existing savings account.
2) Transfer from your personal bank account.
Make a payment to our Unique Entity Number (UEN): S65CS0156HSCF via PayNow.
Note: For placement of $50,000 and above, please complete the source of fund declaration here.

Q: How many term deposits account can I have?

A: At this moment, we do not have a limit on how many accounts a member may have.

Q: How do I withdraw my term deposit?

A: The default maturity instruction is P+I to your ACC savings account. For pre-mature withdrawal, please write to us at coop@aupe.org.sg.

Q: Do I get pro-rated interest if I withdraw my term deposit before maturity?

A: No, we do not pay any interest for premature withdrawal.

Q: What is the minimum and maximum placement for term deposit?

A: The minimum placement is $500. We do not have a maximum cap on the term deposit at this moment.

Loans

Q: What is the maximum loan I am eligible for?

A: Up to 6 times of your basic salary for salary deduction or 4 times of your basic salary for GIRO arrangement.
Capped at $50,000 for salary deduction or $30,000 for GIRO. 

Q: How much secured loan am I eligible for?

A: You may borrow up to 100% of your total savings (subscriptions, savings and term deposits).

Q: Can I make an early repayment for my loans?

A: Only after 6 months you may make an early repayment / full settlement.

Q: How long does it take for my loan to be processed?

A: Your loan will be processed within 3 working days, or 5 during high volume. If documents are incomplete, the processing time will be longer.

Q: I am unable to upload the required documents for loan application.

A: Please submit the documents via e-mail along with your full name and last 4 characters of your NRIC to coop@aupe.org.sg

Q: When am I eligible to apply for another top-up loan?

A: There is a 3 month cooling period before you may apply for another loan.

Hospitalisation

Q: Can I claim from Union and ACC if I am a member for both?

A: Yes, you can claim from both Union and ACC. Please click here and complete the claim form.

Q: I am 69 years old. Am I eligible to claim for hospitalisation?

A: No. You are eligible to claim till the age of 68 years old. For more information, please visit our website.

Q: I would like to sign up for the enhanced hospitalisation scheme. Must my family be a ACC member?

A: Yes. As long as you are an existing union or ACC member who have signed up for hospitalisation scheme, you may apply for AWS-HFamily for your parents, spouse and children. Your family members need not be a member of ACC or union. Click here to learn more.
